Equipment
No, there is no big equipment list here for you to browse. Really that would be the best reason for you to buy the Dark Champions book. They go into a lot of detail about modern day equipment from electronics, to firearms, to explosives, to body armor, and so on. Really though you can just send me your wish list and I will go through and determine if you could get a hold of the stuff and what the in game stats are.
A couple things to think about for starting equipment. I will assume that you had at least some money in the past and sometime to work on acquiring stuff. There will be limits though. Don't expect to go too crazy if you haven't spent any points on money(meaning military grade stuff). Also, you will need to have the proper contacts(see Perks) in place to have had access to cetain equipment.
Think of equipment as falling into 4 catagories. The first is Standard. Standard is stuff that people can get legally without too much effort. At worst, if you have no criminal record, you just have to get a permit. Many types of firearms, survailance equipment, some body armor, and so on fall into this catagory. So, depending on your background you might not even need to have a contact to get Standard stuff. You could probably get most of what you need in this catagory. The second catagory is Street Level. This is illegal stuff. Submachine guns, many explosives, really tough body armor, assault rifles, and so on. You must add 3 points to any of your Contacts for them to have access to Street level goods. The third catagory is Military. This includes heavy weapons like machine guns and grenades. The really tough body armor and other more advanced equipment. You need to spend an extra 5 points on your Contact for him to have access to Military equipment. The last catagory is Advanced Military. This is craziness like anti-tank missles, flame throwers, military vehicles, and so on. This costs an extra 10 points for your Contact.
Of course, if you take the proper skills, you can make many of your own toys. Even nastey guns, stake throwers, survailance bugs, strange little weapons that you think up in your head, and so on. Weaponsmith, electronics, inventor, mechanic, and various knowledge skills can combine to be very helpful in this regard. You, of course, need the shop or lab space to create such things, but I will allow a lot if you have the skills. If you come up with too high tech or crazy of ideas there will be rolls to see if you have figured out how to make said equipment yet.
Don't get too hung up on having to have big nastey toys though. The basics can get you a long ways. Stakes, swords, and shotguns, with the right skills and feats can be extrodinarily devistating. And in an urban environment too many explosions and big weapons can bring a lot of heat from the authorities.
